So I have completed another fundraiser for the lending library building and am sending Partners a check for $1200 today!

Successful Brownie Overnight Raises funds for School

I held a workshop for 2-3rd graders as part of a Brownie overnight at St. Michael's November 13-14th.  We gathered books/supplies for a school in Nicaragua and also for the 
Monarch School in San Diego. We raised approximately 1/2 of what we need!

THE BOOKS HAVE ARRIVED!! Special thanks to Elena and the Girl Scout Troops 8343 and 8373 in California for helping to build the lending library collections in Nicaragua! 154 Books and a Box of School Supplies are on their way!

Thanks to the donations from the Ability Awareness Workshop, efforts of Junior Troop 8373 as they worked on their Bronze Award and the generous donations from Stone Ranch Elementary's Book Fair, 154 Spanish language books  and another box of school supplies are on their way to first Wisconsin and then Nicaragua!
