Monarch School Project Update
It takes a village (or a Girl Scout Troop & Service Unit)
I dropped off gathered supplies to Monarch School this week. Troop 8856 was so generous in answering Let Children's Learn call to help gather warm clothes for the Monarch school and the Rancho Bernardo Service Unit joined in by providing boxes of school supplies. I am so thrilled at how Girl Scouts mobilize to help when needed. Troop 8856 you went above and beyond in the shoes, socks and clothes you donated and I could scarcely lift all of the school supplies, RB Service Unit. Thank you all so much! |
Successful Brownie Overnight Gathers School Supplies
I held a workshop for 2-3rd graders as part of a Brownie overnight at St. Michael's November 13-14th. We gathered books/supplies for the Monarch School in San Diego as well as for a school in Nicaragua. The Monarch School is a new project for us-want to help? Send an email and will connect with you. |
